ASSETS: After School Student Education Teamwork for Success
The ASSETS Program operates at 40 schools. Enrollment is open to all students in the schools with an ASSETS program. Students must attend ASSETS at the school they are enrolled in.
Enrollment Priorities
Each district determines the enrollment priorities for its students each year. For more information about the enrollment priority of a school, please contact the ASSETS central office.
Enrollment Forms
Enrollment forms are available in the school offices or by clicking on the following link 15-16 Enrollment Application.pdf. Space is limited, so prompt return of the forms is recommended. Completed enrollment forms will only be accepted by the ASSETS Program Leader during after school program hours. Applications will not be accepted during the summer break.
Parent Orientations
Parents are required to attend an orientation to go over expectations of the program. All parents will receive a parent handbook at the orientation listing the expectations of the ASSETS program. After the orientation, parents will receive notification of enrollment. Should interest exceed program capacity, a waiting list will be developed. 15-16 Parent Handbook.pdf
Attendance Guidelines
ASSETS is a grant funded after-school program administered by the California Department of Education. The intent of this program is to provide priority of services to students who are able to take full advantage of the after school program. Please review the enrollment application for more information regarding the attendance expectations of this program.
We look forward to your child participating in the wealth of diverse curricular, recreational and enrichment activities that we have planned. If you have any questions, please contact the Merced County ASSETS Program Leader at your child's school or the central office at (209) 381-5934.
